About the Role As a Precision Grinding Specialist, you will play a critical role in the production of high-tolerance mechanical components by operating advanced CNC and manual grinding equipment. You will ensure that every part meets rigorous quality standards, directly contributing to the reliability and performance of our precision manufacturing output. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and adjustments on CNC, ID, OD, and centerless grinding machines to meet precise manufacturing specifications. Interpret technical blueprints and process documentation to ensure accurate component fabrication and data entry into ERP systems. Verify part conformance by utilizing advanced gauging equipment and performing precise calibration checks. Maintain high quality control standards by inspecting your own work and providing oversight for the work of other operators. Optimize production efficiency by calculating rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining cycles for multiple concurrent setups. Uphold a safe and organized workspace while performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in precision grinding and machine setup. Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and work instructions. Strong proficiency in shop math and basic mechanical calculations. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. Must meet federal export control requirements as a U.S. Person. Preferred Skills Experience with specific CNC grinding platforms such as Studer, Okuma, or Okamoto.
