Lathe CNC Lathe Operator Hours:
2pm-10pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing materials for processing/production and fabrication of parts. Responsible for scheduling workload, projects, machine maintenance, and machine operation. Essential duties include but not limited to:
  • Operation of lathe for the fabrication of parts
  • Verification of dimensions to specification
  • Perform basic routine maintenance, programming, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Prioritize work according to job
  • Maintain accurate count of parts for end of shift report
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
  • Previous experience with machine set-up and operation
  • Ability to effectively communicate and understand job instructions, both verbally and written. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical computations and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Critical thinking skills to reason and identify solutions
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree or two-year technical certificate preferred
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Motorsports/Off-road experience highly desired
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
