Full Job Description Job Summary:

E.J. Basler Co. is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for our night shift team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC lathes to produce precision metal components that meet strict quality and production standards. This is a hands-on machining role requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to hold tight tolerances, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC single and multi-spindle lathes Load bar stock and parts (bar feeder and manual loading) Perform machining operations including drilling, boring, tapping, reaming, and milling Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Adjust tooling and offsets to hold tight tolerances Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools Complete production and quality documentation Replace or adjust worn tooling as needed Maintain coolant levels and machine functionality Package and move finished parts Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean work area using 5S principles Assist team members and support continuous improvement efforts Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe experience Ability to read blueprints and understand part specifications Strong measurement and inspection skills Solid shop math skills Experience making tool offsets and basic machine adjustments High attention to detail and quality Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused Physical Requirements Lift 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Frequent use of hands, arms, and close vision Occasional bending, kneeling, and crouching Work Environment Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels Exposure to moving machinery, oils, coolants, and metal shavings PPE required at all times Why Join Us?
