Description:
Geo-Flo Corporation, an Aalberts company, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Bedford, Indiana. This position is responsible for operating and setting up CNC equipment to produce high-quality components while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, performing inspections, troubleshooting machining issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate CNC lathes, mills, routers, and related equipment Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and offset adjustments Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring equipment Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues Maintain accurate production and inspection records Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives Assist with preventive maintenance activities on CNC equipment
Requirements:
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous CNC machining experience required Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with
HAAS CNC
equipment Experience performing complete machine setups Understanding of G-code and CNC programming Experience with first article inspections Manufacturing experience in a low-volume, high-mix environment PI65692bc55c35-9572
