Machinist/CNC Operator

Summary:

Fastech Precision is seeking a skilled and versatile Machinist/CNC Operator to join our dynamic machine shop team. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and have experience operating a wide range of CNC and manual machinery, we want to hear from you. This role involves performing essential daily tasks to support our precision manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC machinery, including but not limited to mills, press brakes, waterjets, lathes, shears, drills, and taps. Perform cutting, assembly, finishing, engraving, and other machine shop duties. Drive forklifts and operate heavy machinery/equipment as needed. Utilize general shop tools for tasks such as cutting, bending, forming, drilling, welding, assembling, coating, painting, and additional related activities. Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols in all operations. Assist with general shop maintenance and other duties as assigned to support efficient workflow. Read technical drawings and blueprints, understand GD&T and accurately measure parts using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a machinist in a shop environment. Positive attitude Proficiency with CNC programming and operation. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly processes. Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred). Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent Nice to

Knowledge of Fusion360 or SolidWorks is a plus Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus Technical training or certification in machining is a plus.
