Job Description

Tippmann Arms Co LLC is a leading manufacturer of high-quality firearms. We specialize in producing precision-engineered components for M4-22 style rifles and pistols. With a commitment to innovation, quality, and safety, we are looking for a dedicated CNC Machine Operator to join our team and help us continue to deliver world-class products to our customers.
Position Overview:
As a CNC Machine Operator at Tippmann Arms you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of CNC machines. Your work will help maintain the high standards of precision and quality that our products are known for.
Regular shift:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM (third shift/overnight). Training period : For the first 2 weeks, you'll work Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the day shift.
Shift differential:
After moving to the overnight schedule, you'll receive a 10% night shift premium, meaning your base hourly rate is increased by 10% for working third shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machines to produce firearm components. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machine settings and part specifications. Conduct regular inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent product quality. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient production timelines. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Document production and machine performance data accurately.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or training in CNC operation preferred). Previous experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. Prior use of measuring tools, hand tools, deburring tools, sand blaster and sonic washer Must adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly. Ability to stand for long periods and work in a shop environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
