• Full-time Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines for precision aluminum machining.

Select tooling for each part being set up. Set Fixtures in machine. Update engineering on any necessary changes Train other employees for operation of machines to promote cross-training Perform touch-offs, tool changes, and machine offsets to ensure accurate machining. Simulate, verify, and troubleshoot CNC programs to optimize tool paths, minimize cycle times, and reduce material waste. Load raw aluminum stock and monitor machining processes for accuracy, safety, and quality. Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Label, document, and stack parts for next-stage processing or shipment. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production managers to resolve production challenges. Set up, operate and train others on automated saw machines to support CNC area. Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues to management. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC Set up and operation, preferably with aluminum materials. Strong understanding of CNC milling, CNC router and waterjet a plus. Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specs. Ability to make adjustments in programs at the machine to improve quality and performance. Experience with touch-offs, tool offsets, and running test programs. Comfortable lifting 50 lbs. and performing repetitive physical tasks. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a dependable, team-oriented attitude. Preferred Skills Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation practices. Experience working within aerospace, automotive, or medical device manufacturing standards. Certifications in CNC programming, advanced machining, or lean manufacturing methodologies. Experience in CAM software (e.g., MasterCAM, Fusion 360, AutoCAD). Why Join Faztek?
