CNC Set Up Operator

Global Precision Parts (GPP) is seeking an experienced Senior CNC Setup Technician to support our Hydromat rotary transfer and Swiss CNC operations. This is a hands-on role for a skilled machinist who can lead setups, troubleshoot issues, and train others in a high-volume production environment. What You'll Do Set up and optimize Hydromat and Swiss CNC machines Edit and troubleshoot G & M code Lead setups, tool changes, and process improvements Train operators and setup technicians Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Maintain tooling, setup documentation, and production standards Ensure quality, efficiency, and uptime across the department Additional duties as needed / assigned What We're Looking For 5+ years CNC setup experience (Hydromat or Swiss preferred) Strong blueprint reading & GD&T knowledge Experience with precision measuring tools Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to lead, train, and support a team Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds & speeds Why GPP Stable, team-focused environment Advanced equipment & high-volume production Opportunity to make a direct impact on performance and efficiency

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
