CNC Operator Department:
Operations Work Schedule:
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Location:
Washington, IN Compensation:
Hourly + Overtime, Non-Exempt FLSA Also known as: CNC Slitter Operator Overview The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC slitting equipment to prepare, process, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role works closely with Inside Sales Representatives, Branch Managers, and VP of Business Development to ensure customer specifications are met. The CNC Operator plays a critical role in production quality, equipment reliability, and timely order fulfillment. Reports To the Warehouse Manager/Branch Manager. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain the CNC Slitter to prepare and process customer orders. Translate instructions, specifications, and prints intoaccuratecomputer commands. Prepare and load raw materials ontoCNCmachinery. Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments during production runs. Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications. Maintainaccuraterecords of common and recurring orders asrequired. Perform routine software updates and system adjustments as needed. Inspect machinery daily to ensure safe and proper functionality. Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Assist the Warehouse Manager with warehouse or material-handling tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work areain accordance withcompany standards. Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC machinery or industrial equipment preferred. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and prints. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to perform quality inspections andmaintainproduction accuracy. Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and machine updates. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds overhead on a daily basis. Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Work This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work. Duties require an on-site presence in the shop environment. Travel Requirements No travel is required for this position.
