CNC Editing Full Job Description Job Description:

This individual will be responsible for the set-up and machining of a variety of plastics and rubber for the fluid power industry. The machining technician pulls the appropriate material, sets ups shop orders, runs production and inspects parts per order. Unique opportunity to do precision machine work in a clean, climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a CNC Lathe to produce products according to shop order and print specifications. Load material into machine and monitor the machining process. Make necessary tooling adjustments to maintain print dimensions and required surface finishes. Perform visual and physical inspection of product by using necessary measuring equipment including: calipers, micrometers and pi tape. Cleans and provides routine preventative maintenance on equipment and surrounding area. Meet production deadlines and be flexible and responsive to changing demands. Must possess basic computer and math skills Perform routine maintenance on machine Desired Skills and Experience. Knowledge of G & M codes Haas / Fanuc control experience a plus Experience with writing and editing CNC programming High school diploma or equivalent Experience with machining plastics a plus 1-3 years CNC experience preferred but willing to train
