  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes. Your expertise will ensure high-quality output, adherence to safety standards, and efficient production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about machining and manufacturing excellence to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up CNC lathe machines, including loading tooling and programming parameters based on blueprints and technical specifications Operate CNC lathes with precision, monitoring machine performance throughout the production cycle Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD/CAM files to produce accurate parts Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to ensure dimensional accuracy Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC equipment, including electrical discharge machining (EDM) tools when necessary Follow safety protocols diligently while handling hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and welding equipment Collaborate with team members on lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to optimize workflow and reduce waste Requirements Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines, especially Fanuc or similar controls Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading skills Familiarity with GD&T principles and the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling selection, and machine maintenance Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with CAD software like SolidWorks or general CAD programs Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters Experience working within manufacturing environments that involve plastics injection molding or welding is a plus Valid forklift certification is preferred for material handling tasks Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety compliance Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by producing high-quality components through expert machining!
