Full Job Description Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, and GD&T tools
- Assemble finished parts as required
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines with knowledge of Fanuc and Mazatrol controls
- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Experience using precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
- Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for different machining operations
- Familiarity with CAD software for programming CNC machines We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can demonstrate expertise in operating CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, performing quality control inspections, and maintaining equipment.
