CNC Set-up Operator Shift:
First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00PM) Summary As a Set-up Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring that machinery is set up correctly for production runs. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role focuses on utilizing core skills such as blueprint reading and precision measuring instruments to maintain high-quality standards. Your expertise in CAM programming will be essential for optimizing machine performance. Additionally, your knowledge of CNC programming and mechanical systems will enhance operational efficiency. Join our team to contribute to a streamlined manufacturing environment and uphold our commitment to quality and precision.
CNC Set-up Operator:
Read detailed drawings or files, such as blueprints, sketches, and those for computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) Set up, operate, and disassemble manual, automatic, and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools Align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces Monitor the feed and speed of machines Turn, mill, drill, shape, and grind machine parts to specifications Verify that completed products meet requirements Requirements A minimum of 2 years' experience is required.
