CNC Operator
Kiosk Group is looking for an experienced CNC and manufacturing professional with a strong eye for detail and mechanical aptitude who will operate CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality parts accurately and efficiently. Currently, Kiosk Group runs one Onsrud 3-axis CNC with a Fanuc controller. Materials cut include both high-density and low-density plastics, and aluminum. (Machine/software-specific training will be made available.)
Responsibilities
Reading specifications from mechanical drawings and ensuring they are met.
Preparing and loading materials onto machines.
Using a round-over machine to smooth rough edges and present a polished look to the finished product.
Run tests on machines to check machine outputs according to specifications.
Operate machines for full cycle fabrication on large quantity of parts.
Examine and maintain machinery regularly to ensure functionality.
Supervise machines during execution and make any necessary adjustments to manufacture a better result.
Inspect completed parts and compare them to the specifications and requirements of the blueprint, to determine if the process was properly completed.
Performs all work in compliance with Kiosk Group's quality and safety systems, policies, and procedures.
o Maintain safe, clean and organized working conditions by adhering to safety and housekeeping procedures.
o Update job knowledge by participating in company-arranged educational opportunities, reading technical publications, trying new technologies, and discussing and sharing experiences with others.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience as CNC operator.
Skill in operating CNC machinery, tooling and precision measurement tools.
Mechanical aptitude and proficient math skills
