Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise will ensure smooth production processes, adherence to safety standards, and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to a thriving manufacturing environment. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Utilize CAD and SolidWorks software for tooling design and modifications as needed. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on machinery such as Fanuc-controlled equipment and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify product specifications. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment; assist with materials handling and fabrication tasks on the assembly line. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine settings, and quality inspections; follow safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing experience working with machining centers, CNC machines, stamping presses, or fabrication equipment. Hands-on knowledge of CNC programming (including CAM programming) and CNC operation is highly desirable. Familiarity with blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and the use of hand tools for assembly or fabrication tasks. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse handling equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of quality control procedures and the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety standards.
