PT Tech prides itself on producing high quality parts with short lead times that exceed our customers' expectations. This position works Monday through Friday with a start time at 5:00am and an end time between 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Weekend work will be required as the jobs dictate. Overtime pay is paid at time and half over 40 hours worked in a week and on Saturday. Double time is paid for work on Sunday. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will run a variety of CNC-controlled machines / milling centers. You will be responsible for set-ups and change-overs, and for loading and unloading machines.
RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Ability to operate 3 axis machining centers, (5 axis experience a plus) 2. Setting up proper cutting tools as specified within CNC programs 3. Using and navigating CNC control screens 4. Taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, and able to adjust accordingly 5. Follow work instructions to ensure end product is cut to the highest standard
REQUIRED SKILLS 1.
Experience cutting aluminum, steel, kirksite, molds and dies. 2. Working knowledge of Fanuc, HAAS, Mitsubishi, & Heidenhain controls. Knowledge of Toshiba Tasnuc 999 controls a plus. 3. Programming experience a plus 4. Strong mechanical & troubleshooting skills 5. Must be experienced in Blueprint reading and interpretation 6. Ability to perform calculations and conduct moderate analysis
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE A
high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 3 years of CNC cutting experience is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS 1.
Work requires walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing. 2. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
