This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with 3 axis and 5 axis CNC equipment. As a key player in our manufacturing facility, you'll ensure that all parts meet strict quality standards while maintaining efficient workflow. Your mechanical knowledge and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our production line and help us deliver exceptional products to our customers. We want your input on how we will continue to expand our operations capabilities. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines using detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Adjust CNC equipment utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and understand G-code and Fanuc controls for precise machining. Read and interpret blueprints. Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and mechanical tools; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Handle materials safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment; assist with fabrication, assembly, or packaging as needed.- Cross train- Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine settings, and quality inspections to ensure compliance with safety and manufacturing standards. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC equipment such as milling machines, CNC lathes, or stamping presses within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of CNC programming languages including G-code; experience with CAM software is a plus. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and SolidWorks or CAD for design interpretation. Ability to read blueprints accurately. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tooling, fabrication processes, welding, and assembly line operations. Experience with quality control tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings.
