CNC Machine Operator Job Summary :

A growing manufacturing company in Kentwood is seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to join their team. If you have CNC machining experience, blueprint reading skills, and enjoy working in a precision manufacturing environment, this may be a great fit for you.

CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities:

Operate Mazak CNC lathes to manufacture parts according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify tolerances Perform first-piece inspections and verify part quality Replace inserts and materials safely and correctly Monitor machine operation and identify part defects Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance on machinery and equipment Maintain accurate production and quality standards

CNC Machine Operator Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience preferred Experience operating CNC routers, laser equipment, turret presses, or CNC lathes preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings Understanding of tolerancing and quality requirements Experience using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Knowledge of ISO procedures and manufacturing safety standards preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong communication skills and attention to detail Dependable and safety-focused !
