Summary Moeller Aerospace is looking for candidates with a passion for learning and delivering perfect parts on time. Moeller Aerospace Harbor Springs is a clean, organized, well lit, temperature controlled, modern manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate CNC equipment as necessary to produce the required number of conforming parts in a timely manner according to process documentation. This will include operating multiple pieces of CNC equipment simultaneously. Perform first piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to process documentation. Perform data collection and communication tasks as directed in our eOVL. Perform operator maintenance (TPM). Perform deburr or rework of work in-process. Make recommendations to optimize and improve assigned processes. Maintain workstation to 5S standards. Perform all work according to Company safety standards. This is intended to give an overview of the position and is not an exhaustive list. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements Ability to use common measuring equipment, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Collaboration and communication skills related to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Ability to read blueprint reading skills to GD&T standards. Basic computer skills. Ability to perform basic shop math functions. Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials according to customer policies and practices. Regularly lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Stand for long periods of time in manufacturing environment. Twist, kneel, bend.
