Job Description
Leon's Countertops is looking for a skilled, detail-driven CNC Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to run CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues, and keep production moving at a high standard. As a family-owned business with over 25 years of experience, Leon's Countertops is a market leader in stone surfacing and countertop fabrication. We are looking for someone who can handle complex CNC work, support production goals, and help train others on safe and effective machine operation. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC machines for countertop fabrication. Review job orders and CAD files to ensure accurate programming. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform advanced maintenance as needed. Verify cuts, dimensions, and finishes meet quality standards. Perform quality checks on finished products. Train and support entry-level CNC operators on safety, machine operation, and best practices. Work with the production team to improve workflow and solve fabrication challenges. Help reduce waste and improve efficiency. Maintain accurate records of machine performance and production output. What We're Looking For 2+ years of CNC machine operation experience. Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience training or mentoring other operators is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and a team-first attitude. High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical certifications are a plus. Bilingual is preferred. Preferred Traits Self-motivated and proactive.
