Whether you're a trade school graduate or a CNC operator with a few years of experience, this is a strong opportunity to develop your skills, work with modern equipment, and advance into setup, programming, or toolmaking. You'll work in a clean, climate‑controlled shop alongside experienced machinists who are invested in training, mentorship, and long‑term success. What You'll Do Operate CNC mills and lathes on precision metal components Learn and perform basic tool changes, offsets, and G/M‑code edits Conduct in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs Read and work from blueprints, setup sheets, and technical documentation Hold tight tolerances and maintain high-quality standards Troubleshoot machining issues and continuously improve process knowledge Grow into setup, advanced machining, or programming responsibilities over time What We're Looking For 1-3 years of CNC machining experience or machining trade school education Experience with CNC mills or lathes (production machining preferred) Ability to read blueprints and perform basic dimensional inspection Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in advancing as a machinist Basic understanding of GD&T and G/M‑codes (ongoing training provided) Reliable, detail‑oriented team players who want long‑term growth Why Machinists Choose This Shop $20-$28/hr DOE , with opportunities to move into higher‑paying machinist roles Shift differentials for 2nd shift Employee Ownership Program - average value ~$22,000 after 5 years 401(k) with generous company match Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance Family medical coverage under $200/month Consistent overtime opportunities Clear advancement paths into setup, programming, or toolmaking Shop & Equipment Clean, organized, climate‑controlled facility Modern CNC mills, lathes, turning centers, and Fanuc Robodrills Safety‑focused, supportive team culture Strong emphasis on training, mentorship, and skill development Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Roseville, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
