2nd Shift CNC Milling Operator 128 Franklin Avenue NE, Saint Cloud, MN 56304 From $32 an hour - Full-time From $32 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are hiring! Looking for people to join our fast paced, high-tech team to help develop and manufacture cutting-edge products utilizing the latest in manufacturing technology. New Modern Equipment / Clean Facility / Robotics and Automation Primary Job Function Analyze specifications, to control machining or processing of metal or plastic parts by automatic machine tools, set up and operate machine tools. Essential Job Functions Determine the sequence of machine operations, and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into the desired shapes. Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and document data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates. Document instruction sheets and cutter lists for a machine's controller to guide setup. Duties Below and not limited to: Operate CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling, calibration, and safety procedures are followed. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify part dimensions. Maintain machine cleanliness, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Handle materials and finished parts safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment when necessary. Collaborate with team members to communicate machine and part issues.
Qualifications:
Job Skills CNC Milling Education and Experience 2-year degree in CNC machining or related Physical Requirements • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
