CNC Router Operator

Position Summary:

This position consists of loading programs on a Biesse CNC and cutting out parts, labeling them, and sorting onto carts. Being aware of tool/bit wear and changing out when necessary for quality upkeep. Logging daily material use for inventory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Double checking the programs to print Checking parts for accuracy and quality Receives direction from supervisor and notifies them when more work is needed Maintains the area, machinery and tools in a neat, clean and orderly fashion Follows all safety procedures, rules and guidelines as well as notifying the supervisor of any potential safety issues Removes parts manually and puts them on a cart inspecting for quality or program errors Prioritizes HOT jobs as required Preforms daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance for cleaning, greasing, and maintaining inventory Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and differentiate between them Fills in other areas as needed

Qualifications:

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Able to read blueprints Able to lift 50 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time Good communication skills Being able to adapt to change on short notice Attention to detail Problem solving skills
