Job Description

CNC Machinist We are looking for a CNC machinist to program and setup single and twin spindle turning centers for prototype and small run parts on CNC turning centers at a small facility in the NE Metro area.
Qualified Applicants Must:
  • Have a technical degree in machine tool technology (preferred), but significant applicable experience may waive this requirement.
  • Be able to produce complex prototype parts from prints and 3D models.
  • Cam Softwear or MasterCam preferred. Proficient with common office computer software.
  • Understand turning tool selection, turning center workholding, and live tooling.
  • Be capable of using standard metrology equipment to verify and qualify parts.
  • Be self-motivated and be capable of working with little oversight.
  • Be capable of managing multiple projects, completing projects on time, and managing workload to achieve deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
  • Take pride in their work and be active in understanding, learning, and improving.
  • Be open minded and respect coworkers and others in the workplace and community.
About Us Our company employs approximately 70 people in northern MN and machines and assembles components for the motorsport industry. The NE metro facility creates custom fixturing, work holding, automation, and small runs of prototypes. It is currently a small facility, and we would like to grow it at the right pace. Compensation Compensation is competitive and negotiable, based on skillset and experience, but the ideal candidate would be expected to make +50-62k/yr. Hours are flexible but expected to be a minimum of 40 hrs/wk, maximum of 50 hrs/wk. Full benefits including vacation, health, dental, and 401k matching available after probationary period.
