We are looking for a candidate who specifically has experience setting up CNC Mill jobs without fixtures. We mostly do small batch runs and do not use many fixtures.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Independently read and interpret engineering prints to ensure precision in manufacturing. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adherence to production standards. Ability to manage and operate multiple machines. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards. Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments. Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Experience:

Previous experience as a CNC Mill Machinist or similar role Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings Strong understanding of G-Codes Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers Experience completing setups without fixtures Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Additional experience with CNC lathe and conventional machining is a definite advantage.
