In this role, you will operate and maintain CNC equipment to produce high-quality precision components. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced machinery in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are critical. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and machining centers based on blueprints and specifications Perform machining operations including boring, milling, drilling, reaming, tapping, and turning on castings, steels, and alloys Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements Inspect parts during production using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with tight tolerances Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime Maintain accurate production logs and quality documentation Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Assist in additional manufacturing processes such as assembly, fitting, cutting, and bending as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management

Equipment & Tools Used CNC Machines:

Okuma vertical and horizontal mills, Okuma lathes (including live tooling), broaching machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and balancers

Hand & Precision Tools:

Die grinders, angle grinders, drills, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, pin gages, and other metrology equipment

Material Handling Equipment:

Overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts Additional machinery and equipment as required Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing or CNC machining environment preferred Experience with CNC controls is highly desirable Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T principles Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately Mechanical aptitude required Ability to lift and maneuver parts weighing 50+ lbs Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Schedule 2nd

Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts)

Compensation Entry Level:

$18-$19/hour (mechanical aptitude required)

Experienced:
