• 5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing team in Springfield.

This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC equipment—including routers, vertical mills, and lathes—to produce high-quality, precision parts. Candidates with hands-on experience in press brakes, punch presses, Schechtl machines, shears, routers, or roll formers are strongly encouraged to apply. While direct experience is preferred, candidates with transferable machining experience will be considered. Key Responsibilities Review job documentation including blueprints, routings, and work instructions Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts to specification Read and interpret technical drawings and job orders Adjust machine settings to maintain tight tolerances and accuracy Perform job changeovers and machine setups Inspect raw materials for quality and compliance Conduct in-process inspections to ensure part accuracy Troubleshoot machining or production issues as needed Qualifications Prior CNC machining experience required Experience with CNC routers, vertical mills, and lathes Familiarity with manual machining equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to safely handle and load materials Capable of working independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
