is partnering with a manufacturing company located in Asheville to recruit for a CNC Operator/Machinist . This role is responsible for producing machined parts by setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, while maintaining quality and safety standards.What you will do:
Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and saws. Read and interpret drawings and specifications, and machine materials to drawing specifications. Perform in-process inspections, calculating requirements including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.What you will bring:
Minimum of 1 year experience in machining or certification, OR a minimum of 3 years machine operating experience. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Must be able to walk/stand throughout an eight to ten-hour day and be able to consistently lift 50 lbs.Job Type:
