The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating CNC milling machines, including CNC programming and setup, with a strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and quality control standards. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment and contribute to high-quality production processes within a modern manufacturing facility. Candidates should possess solid mechanical knowledge, familiarity with factory operations, and experience handling various manufacturing tools and materials. Duties Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines, ensuring precise machining according to specifications. Program CNC machines using CAM programming software and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T to produce components accurately. Utilize Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation and troubleshooting. Perform tooling changes, calibrations, and adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to verify dimensions. Maintain documentation of machining processes and quality checks for traceability. Assist with materials handling, fabrication, assembly line tasks, and packaging as needed. Operate related equipment such as press brake machines, stamping presses, welding stations, and fabrication tools when required. Follow safety protocols including the use of hand tools and proper handling of materials within the manufacturing environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining machine cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC milling machines with knowledge of CNC programming (CAM) and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
