CNC OPERATOR
First ShiftPOSITION OVERVIEW
We're seeking a reliable CNC Operator to run and monitor CNC machines in our production environment. This role focuses on setup, operation, quality control, and maintaining consistent production flow. The ideal candidate brings hands-on CNC experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain production pace while ensuring part quality meets specifications.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Machine Operation Set up and operate CNC machines including mills and lathes Load and unload material and secure parts properly using appropriate fixtures Run programs and actively monitor machine operation throughout cycles Perform basic tool changes and offset adjustments as needed Maintain consistent production flow and meet daily output goals Operate machines safely following all standard operating procedures Quality Control Inspect parts using precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers Verify parts meet blueprint specifications and tolerances Identify and report quality issues or defects promptly Make minor adjustments to maintain part quality Document inspection results as required Maintenance & Housekeeping Keep machines clean and well-maintained Maintain organized work area and tool storage Report machine issues or maintenance needs Follow 5S standards and housekeeping protocols Ensure safe working conditions around equipmentREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience operating CNC machines in a production environment Ability to read basic prints and part drawings Understanding of measurements, dimensions, and tolerances Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Strong attention to detail and quality focus Reliable attendance and ability to maintain production pace Basic math skills for measurements and calculationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Haas CNC machines Basic G-code knowledge or editing capability Setup experience including fixtures, offsets, and tooling Experience in high-volume production environment Familiarity with precision measurement tools beyond calipers/micrometersWORK ENVIRONMENT
