2nd shift Lead CNC Operator/Machinist

Magna Machining is looking for a 2nd shift Lead Operator/Machinist to join our fast paced, quality oriented team in Richfield, NC. This is a 2nd shift position (3pm-11pm) with a paid 1/2 hour lunch. !! The right candidate is a self starter who is team oriented, knows how to lead and wants to work. As a Lead, you will be required to document, troubleshoot problems and report to management any issues within the production shift. The Lead position will also oversee all hourly employees on 2nd shift to ensure that Production values and levels are maintained. The lead position will require exceptional attention to detail to maintain integrity of the shift and will be responsible for all aspects of end of night shutdown. Skills needed for

OPERATOR

are as follows: Must be able to read Calipers and Micrometer, must be able to read a blueprint, must be able to check parts to a print, must be detail and quality oriented, must be team oriented and ready to learn and work. Any setup experience is a plus and will reflect in pay. Skills needed as Machinist are as follows: Same as operator, and....must be able to perform setups and program mills and/or lathes, must be proficient with feeds and speed calculation, must be able to work with a variety of materials, must be able to troubleshoot issues and work independently. Any CAM experience is a plus.
