Build Your Future with Klute Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and interested in working with advanced manufacturing equipment? As a Plasma Machine Operator, you'll play a key role in transforming raw material into precision-cut parts used in projects across the country. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable technical skills, work with CNC equipment, and grow your career in manufacturing. Whether you're experienced or looking to expand your skillset, Klute provides training, support, and opportunities for advancement. Primary Purpose & Function Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting equipment to fabricate parts to specification Program and adjust machine settings based on engineering drawings Coordinate material flow and staging to support production schedules Monitor quality and efficiency throughout the cutting process Identify and recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and workflow Essential Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings Apply shop math, including fractions and decimal calculations Measure and verify parts to ensure quality standards are met Safely operate plasma cutting equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes Perform daily machine inspections and operational checks Replace and maintain torch consumables and components Make minor program adjustments and troubleshoot basic machine issues Utilize computer systems to support machine operation and production tracking What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate measurements Basic computer skills Forklift experience or willingness to become certified Manufacturing, industrial, construction, or machine operation experience is preferred but not required Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Why Klute? Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
