Job Description
Operate, adjust, inspect, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines for precision component production. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Technical training preferred 2+ years of experience operating Swiss CNC machines Strong understanding of G-code and CNC controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to understand GD&T Experience working with tight tolerances Experience using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges Familiarity with various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics Strong math skills Preferred Skills Experience helping set up Swiss-style CNC machines Experience performing tool changes Experience adjusting offsets Experience making minor CNC program edits Experience troubleshooting machining issues Experience documenting production and quality results Experience performing routine machine maintenance Job Responsibilities Help set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job travelers Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments Maintain production efficiency and minimize scrap Perform routine machine maintenance Keep work area clean Document production and quality results
