CNC Machine Operator 1st. Shift

About the Position We currently have an opening to join our woodshop in Parsippany. Wood working or CNC machinery experience is a must. We need a go-getter with a positive attitude who wants to get ahead. Our Company North American Plywood Corporation is a 76 year old national plywood importer and wholesaler. We have 2 distribution locations in the United States and import from all over the world. We sell primarily to industrial accounts in industries such as cabinet making, diecutting, staging, hospitality, RV industry and concrete construction. We Offer Medical, Dental, Life Insurance 401(K) plan Paid Vacation and Holidays Essential Job Functions Sets-up, operates or tends machines in safe and responsible manner. Works from drawings, work orders, and instructions covering production parts. Reads and interprets blueprints as needed. Measures, examines finished parts using precision instruments, such as micrometers, tape measures, etc. Performs daily cleaning and light maintenance on machines. Other duties assigned. Qualifications Pre-employment drug screening. High School Degree or equivalent required. Wood working or CNC machinery 3 years of previous experience (Required)). Forklift experience is a plus. Ability to positively interact with other employees and to work independently. Ability to listen and interpret instructions. Willing and able to work overtime as needed.
