Job Description

CNC Turner Operator We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Operator to join our manufacturing team in Las Vegas. As a CNC Turner Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts. Your duties will include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, selecting and loading cutting tools, monitoring machine operations, and performing quality control checks. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of G-code programming, experience with operating CNC lathes, and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings
  • Load raw materials into the machine and select appropriate cutting tools
  • Monitor machine operations, make adjustments as needed, and perform quality control checks
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
  • Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure finished products meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in G-code programming
  • Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read engineering drawings accurately
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
