Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machining equipment to produce high-quality machined parts while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate will have prior CNC machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts according to specifications. Inspect parts throughout production using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers. Perform quality checks and inspect every tenth part to ensure compliance with standards. Complete control sheets and quality documentation accurately. Deburr machined parts and remove all sharp edges. Identify and reject non-conforming products. Make machine offset adjustments as needed to maintain part quality. Monitor and maintain machine coolant and oil levels. Inspect cutting tools and inserts for wear and replace as needed. Operate multiple machines and manage workload efficiently throughout the shift. Communicate effectively with team members and incoming shifts. Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines. Support 5S initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area. Assist in other departments as needed. Qualifications 1-2 years of CNC machining experience preferred. Knowledge of tooling, machine jaws, and machining processes. Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers. Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts. Ability to work any shift as required. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 55 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and industrial equipment. IND2
