Large Format Vertical CNC Lathe Operator

About the Role We're seeking a CNC operator ready to step into large-format machining on modern vertical lathe equipment. This role offers the chance to work on oversized, high-value parts using new, state-of-the-art machines, ideal for someone looking to grow beyond smaller, repetitive work.

Day Shift:

6:00 AM

• 3:30 PM M-Th and 6:00 AM
• 10:00

AM Friday Night Shift:

4:00 PM

• 2:00 AM M
• Th What You'll Do Set up and operate large format CNC vertical lathes (Mazak equipment) Machine large, complex components to tight tolerances Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers Make offsets, tool changes, and minor program edits Perform in-process inspections using standard measuring tools Collaborate with programmers and engineering on continuous improvement What We're Looking For CNC machining experience required (lathe experience preferred) Experience with Mazak machines is a strong plus Familiarity with G-code and/or conversational programming Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and a desire to grow your skillset Why This Opportunity Stands Out Work on large, challenging parts, not repetitive small-piece production Hands-on experience with new Mazak vertical lathe equipment Clean, modern facility with updated technology Opportunity to expand into advanced setups and programming Growth Opportunities This position is designed for operators who want more, more responsibility, more technical challenge, and more career progression.
