Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CNC Operator Lead to oversee and coordinate the operation of CNC machinery within our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring precision, efficiency, and safety across machining processes. As a leader on the shop floor, you will guide a team of CNC operators, manage machine setups, and uphold quality standards to meet production goals. Your expertise in CNC programming, tooling, and manufacturing techniques will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor a team of CNC operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production schedules Oversee setup, calibration, and operation of CNC milling machines, lathes, stamping presses, and other machining equipment Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls, CAM software, CAD drawings, and GD&T specifications to produce high-quality parts Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensional accuracy Coordinate materials handling, tooling setup, and fabrication processes to optimize workflow on the assembly line Perform troubleshooting on CNC equipment and mechanical components; collaborate with maintenance for repairs as needed Ensure compliance with quality control standards by inspecting finished products against blueprints and technical drawings Maintain detailed records of machine operations, production logs, and quality reports for continuous improvement initiatives Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and fabricating tools in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, CAM programming, CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar tools Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), tooling setup, welding techniques, and fabrication processes Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, mechanical knowledge, and precision measurement instruments Warehouse or factory experience involving materials handling, packaging, assembly lines, or warehouse logistics is highly desirable Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly or fabrication tasks; basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential Prior leadership experience leading small teams in a manufacturing or machining setting is preferred Join us to lead innovative machining operations that shape the future of manufacturing! $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
