CNC Machine Operator and Programming position

CNC Machine Operator and Programming position Duties include: Use Solidworks to move parts to proper origin for CAM programming and to export solid and DXF's for CAM software. Use CAM software to program tool paths to create parts. Set up material to be machined on CNC routers using vacuum tables and mill machines using clamps. Set up multiple tools to use for machining, both for automatic tool changers and manual tool changes. Run programs on multiple origins. Program toolpaths for 2 and 3 axis milling from solid bodies and/or 2D drawings.

Preferred Experience:

Machining plastics and aluminum. The ability to work with minimal supervision and to quickly learn our processes. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Knowlegede of basic engineering processes and priniciples. Solidworks and/or BobCAD experience a plus. Must be able to work in a very efficient manner and build flexibility into designs for future modifications and updating. Some OT to complete projects and other assignments may be required occasionally.
