In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of precision machining, operating advanced CNC equipment to produce high-quality cabinetry components. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, uphold safety standards, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools to produce cabinet parts with precision. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate fabrication. Program CNC equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for optimal performance. Maintain and troubleshoot Fanuc control systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to keep machinery running smoothly. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure product quality. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment within the manufacturing facility. Perform routine maintenance on machinery like press brake machines, stamping presses, welding stations, and fabrication tools to maximize uptime. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with hand tools, fabrication equipment, and assembly line processes. Support packaging, assembly, and fabrication tasks as needed to meet production deadlines. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing experience working with CNC machinery in a cabinet or woodworking environment preferred. Familiarity with CNC programming languages and CAM software; experience with Fanuc controls is highly desirable. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and mechanical knowledge related to machining processes. Hands-on experience operating tooling such as press brake machines, stamping presses, CNC lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment. Skilled in using precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control instruments for ensuring accuracy. Knowledge of materials handling procedures including forklift operation within a manufacturing setting. Ability to work efficiently on assembly lines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality assurance. Basic math skills necessary for setting up machines and verifying measurements; familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD software is a plus.
