Job Description

Nesco Resource is a national staffing firm, we have an immediate need for CNC Machine Operators trainee An entry-level CNC machinist operates computer-controlled machines to manufacture precision parts . Daily responsibilities involve loading raw materials, monitoring machine cycles, measuring finished components for accuracy, and assisting senior staff with machine setups.
Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Load raw stock, press start, and monitor the machinery to ensure smooth production.
Quality Control:
Measure finished parts using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure they meet strict blueprint tolerances.
Setup Assistance:
Help senior machinists install fixtures, load cutting tools, and perform basic machine offsets.
Maintenance & Safety:
Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines, keep the workspace clean, and follow all safety protocols. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ]
Common Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training/certification in machining is highly preferred.
Mechanical Aptitude:
Basic understanding of machining processes and a strong mechanical inclination.
Math & Measurement:
Foundational shop math and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
