What your day looks like You'll arrive ready to take on complex aerospace and defense components on 4- and 5-axis CNC milling centers. You plan your setups, load tools, verify work offsets, and prove out programs to hold tight tolerances across metals and composites. You'll measure twice (and then some), document each operation, and keep parts moving to the next step with confidence. Schedule options 1st
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts starting at 5:30 a.m. (50-hour work week with OT) 2nd
Shift:
Multiple options — 4x10, 5x10, or 4x12 schedules
Pay Differential:
There is a 25% pay differential for 2nd shift What you'll do Interpret routed instructions, process plans, blueprints, and verbal direction under moderate supervision Plan and execute efficient setups using required tooling and the CNC program's setup sheet Use precision hand-held measuring instruments to verify features and tolerances Write, read, and edit G- and M-code at the machine as needed Upload and download programs at the machine Complete production routers as each operation is finished before moving parts forward What you bring High school machine trades program preferred G- and M-code experience with the ability to read/edit programs Blueprint fluency and working knowledge of GD&T Strong mechanical and spatial aptitude Proficiency in GD&T, G-Code, M-Code, and blueprint reading Why GTC Ownership for All — become a stakeholder on day one Industry-leading 25% second-shift differential Flexible scheduling options that fit real life Retiree-friendly part-time paths with benefits A culture that prizes craftsmanship, precision, and accountability Build products to exacting standards for demanding industries Compliance Since we are a
