The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating CNC machines, as well as using precision measuring instruments. This role involves working with various materials, including plastics, and requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in production. Assemble components as needed, ensuring all parts fit together correctly and function properly. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to maintain quality standards. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proficient in operating CNC machinery and understanding Fanuc controls is preferred. Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus. Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpreting technical documents. Experience with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Knowledge of GD&T principles is advantageous. Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
