What will you do? As a CNC Operator at Norwood Medical, you will: Operate precision CNC machining equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Perform machine offsets, adjustments, tool changes, and machine startups Troubleshoot machine alarms, tooling issues, and production challenges Monitor production performance and maintain quality standards Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, vision systems, height gauges, and other inspection tools Read and follow manufacturing routers, inspection plans, and work instructions Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency Maintain accurate production and quality records Collaborate with teammates to achieve safety, quality, and production goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Successful candidates will possess a combination of: CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience making machine offsets and tooling adjustments Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions Knowledge of shop math and precision measurement techniques Experience using inspection equipment and quality systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive attitude and desire to continuously learn and grow Experience with medical device manufacturing, tight-tolerance machining, and advanced inspection methods is a plus.
