Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a CNC Lathe Machine Operator for the overnight shift. If you are eager to learn, we are happy to offer comprehensive training for this role. Your Responsibilities Manage the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of Star CNC Swiss equipment to help create high-quality medical implants. Execute necessary tool swaps, machine offsets, and fine-tuning to ensure parts remain within precise specifications. Analyze technical blueprints, work instructions, and setup documentation to verify that all components align with client requirements. Use specialized measuring tools like optical comparators, micrometers, and calipers to verify the accuracy of finished parts. Carry out regular upkeep and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment running smoothly. Keep accurate records of manufacturing tasks, such as maintenance logs, work orders, and initial inspection documentation. Adhere to rigorous quality standards, ensuring all identification and traceability protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Work alongside quality and engineering departments to help refine and improve machining workflows. Uphold a tidy and efficient workspace by consistently applying 5S methodology to support a safe working environment for the entire team. Required Qualifications A high school diploma or its equivalent is required, while technical certifications are viewed as a benefit. At least one year of experience in interpreting and working from blueprints. A minimum of one year of hands-on experience with GD&T and verifying tolerances using standard gauges, calipers, and micrometers. One year of background in CNC machine operation and setup is preferred, though not strictly mandatory. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and a sharp eye for detail.
