The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in machining processes. You will be trained in the Machine shop. As a CNC Mill and Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, quality control, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be trained. Your shift is 5:00am - 1:30 or 3:30pm depending on the need. Shift time may vary. Monday to Friday. Starting at $17.00 an hour. Training is provided. Must have good math skills and be mechanically inclined. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as necessary. Conduct quality control inspections on finished products using precision measuring tools. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line and assist in other areas of production as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process. Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any malfunctions or repairs needed. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role within a manufacturing facility. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery. Familiarity with logic controllers and quality control processes. Ability to work effectively in a warehouse or assembly line environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read technical documents such as blueprints and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
