Position Summary Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Setup/Operator to join their growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a custom manufacturing environment where every project presents a new challenge. You' ll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes while producing precision-machine parts to customer specifications. The facility is climate-controlled , providing a comfortable work environment year-round. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes with HAAS, Fanuc, or Mazak controls. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work holding equipment. Perform machine offsets and make minor program adjustments when necessary. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections. Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules. Troubleshoot machining issues and help improve manufacturing processes. Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CNC setup and operating experience preferred. Experience with HAAS, Fanuc, or Mazak controls. Ability to independently set up CNC mills and/or lathes. Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances. Experience using precision measuring equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Dependable with a solid work ethic and reliable transportation. Preferred Experience Custom fabrication or job shop manufacturing. Minor program editing. Experience machining steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals. Why You' ll Love This Opportunity $18
