Laser Trim Machine Operator Our client is seeking a Laser Trim Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team on swing shift, supporting specialized production equipment in a highly technical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical and technical curiosity who enjoys troubleshooting legacy systems, working with electronics, and supporting precision manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate brings a blend of hands-on equipment operation, problem-solving ability, and interest in industrial control systems or programming. This role is on-site in Beaverton, Oregon.
Swing Shift:
Tuesday-Friday, 1PM-11:30PM. Training schedule is anticipated to be 10AM-8:30PM. Laser Trim Machine Operator Responsibilities Operate and monitor specialized laser trimming equipment used in precision manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and production efficiency. Troubleshoot equipment issues involving legacy industrial control systems, motion-control electronics, and machine interfaces to minimize downtime. Perform machine setup, calibration, adjustments, and routine operational checks to maintain production standards. Support diagnosis and basic repair of equipment involving industrial PCs, circuit boards, electronic controls, and automation-related hardware. Interpret machine feedback, process outputs, and technical documentation to identify operational improvements or equipment concerns. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve technical issues and maintain workflow continuity. Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and documentation related to machine performance and output quality. Follow established safety protocols, operating procedures, and quality standards within the manufacturing environment. Laser Trim Machine Operator Qualifications Experience operating technical manufacturing equipment, industrial machinery, automated systems, or other complex electromechanical equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills related to electronics, machine controls, circuit boards, or industrial automation systems. Familiarity with legacy computing environments, industrial PCs, or machine control platforms is highly preferred. Exposure to programming or technical logic languages such as C, C++, Visual Basic, assembly language, Pascal/Delphi, or similar is a plus. Interest in electronics, automation, programming, or machine systems, with the curiosity to learn specialized equipment. Ability to read technical documentation, schematics, or machine instructions and apply that knowledge in a production setting. Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work independently in a technical manufacturing environment. Ability to work swing shift hours, with flexibility during operational scheduling needs. Salary:
