CNC Programer and Operator for Countertops

We are Stone Fabrication Shop that produces and installs high quality countertops. We take pride in the product we produce. Our shop is mostly digital and combines state of the art equipment with the time honored craftsmanship of the trade. Willing to train the RIGHT person! Seeking to hire someone with general CNC Programming (CAD) experience who is responsible, detail oriented and can stay focused to get the job done. Leadership skills are a plus. Ideal candidate has at least 3 years experience programming CAD and the desire to learn the machines they are programming

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Detailed programming for CNC machines Ensure all projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Maintaining the operation of the CNC Machine Utilize job processing software to monitor production flow and maintain production schedules Material management for cutting Properly orient and place large granite tops and parts onto CNC Stage and position product on the machine Inspect and align correct tooling Unload the machine with quality checks Operate vacuum lifter safely and efficiently Physically lift some stone parts Improve efficiencies in the shop Accomplish production results by working with the CNC machine team Read shop drawings and fabrication work orders for production Use PC computer to read shop drawings and calendar in order to complete projects Operate sit down forklift (We can train you!) Lift up to 50-100 lbs ​Occasionally unload an incoming trucks

IDEAL QUALITIES

Read a tape measurer down to 1/16 of an inch High school diploma or equivalent Positive attitude Thrive in a fast paced environment Ability to adapt and embrace change Excellent attention to detail, organized, flexible and punctual Safety minded Strong mechanical aptitude Previous stone shop experience is a plus. Higher pay will depend on the stone experience.

Compensation:

Pay is hourly based on abilities. Sick pay that can be used as Paid Time Off, holiday pay when it falls on a weekday, major holidays off, 401k after first year, health & dental care.
