Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, quality standards are met, and continuous improvement is achieved. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise machining processes. Program CNC lathes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and other software tools such as fusion 360 for complex part production. Set up and calibrate swiss and multi-axes CNC lathes, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and tooling offsets are correctly installed. Operate precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and verify part dimensions during setup and production. Conduct troubleshooting, adjustments, and fine-tuning of CNC machines to optimize performance while adhering to safety standards. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Experience Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines, particularly swiss and multi-axis models such as Fanuc-controlled systems. Strong background in CNC programming, including familiarity with G-code and M-code commands. Knowledge of GD&T principles for precise measurement and quality control. Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings confidently. Basic math skills for calculations related to tooling offsets, feed rates, speeds, and measurements using precision instruments.
